Who we are:
The Central Okanagan Heritage Society is a non-profit Society and a registered charity. The Society has been in operation since 1982 and operates with a volunteer Board of Directors, and several part-time and seasonal staff. The Society operates within the geographic boundaries of the Central Okanagan Regional District.
The Central Okanagan Heritage Society Mission statement reads;
"The mission of the Society is to promote and participate in the preservation and restoration of structural, natural, cultural and horticultural heritage within the Central Okanagan region."
The COHS is involved with three major landmarks within
its geographic region.
