Is your home on Kelowna Heritage Register? Are you considering an exterior conservation project or need help with exterior maintenance on your heritage building?
Please join us for this free public information session on the City of Kelowna Heritage Grants Program.
The City of Kelowna Heritage Grants Program was created to recognize the value of heritage in the community by providing financial support to owners of heritage properties. The program promotes the conservation of residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural heritage. Grants assist with a portion of the costs incurred in maintaining the building’s exterior, including the foundation. Only buildings listed on the Kelowna Heritage Register are eligible to apply. The Kelowna Heritage Register has more than 200 properties currently listed, including 21 that are protected with a Heritage Designation Bylaw. The CoKHGP is administered by the Central Okanagan Heritage Society (COHS).
